A 25 ton forklift is rated under a defined load-center condition, not for every object weighing less than 25,000 kg. This heavy-duty configuration is rated at 25,000 kg with a 1,220 mm load center, uses a 4,000 mm standard lift and has a 6,480 mm minimum turning radius. Cargo dimensions, center of gravity, attachment, pavement and access space should be checked before the truck is selected.
25,000 kg Capacity at a 1,220 mm Load Center
The 25,000 kg rating applies at a 1,220 mm load center. Cargo weight and center of gravity therefore need to be considered together.
A long machine base, steel structure, die or mold can move the center of gravity farther forward even when its gross weight remains below 25 tonnes. In that case, usable capacity must be checked for the actual load geometry, mast and attachment.

4,000 mm Lift Height and 2,400 mm Forks
The truck uses a 4,000 mm standard lift height and 2,400 × 285 × 110 mm forks. These dimensions should be compared with the load base, fork pockets and required placement height.
Longer forks, fork positioners, side shift, lifting beams or other attachments can change the effective load center and usable capacity.
Weichai or Cummins Engine
Weichai and Cummins diesel engine options are available in the 160–162 kW power range.
Engine selection should consider the exact model, destination-market emissions requirement and local parts and service availability.
Turning Radius and Site Access
The truck has a 6,480 mm minimum turning radius, 3,070 mm overall width and 4,400 mm wheelbase. These dimensions affect gate access, travel lanes and turning areas.
Long cargo extends the operating envelope beyond the truck itself, so the carried load must also be included when checking corners and aisle clearance.
Pavement and Gradients
The truck weighs about 35,000 kg before cargo is added. Pavement condition, ramps, joints and the planned travel route should therefore be checked for the complete truck-and-load combination.
Loaded gradeability is 20%. Actual ramp use should also account for surface condition, ramp length and load geometry.
Forks, Lifting Beams and Other Attachments
The standard configuration uses 2,400 × 285 × 110 mm forks. Some applications may require a lifting beam, side shift, fork positioner or another attachment.
Attachment weight and thickness affect the effective load center, so attachment dimensions should be included when capacity is checked.
Typical 25 Ton Forklift Applications
Two 25 Ton Forklift Configurations
Xinghao has more than one 25-ton diesel platform. The standard FD250 and the regulated-market heavy-duty version use different specifications and should be compared separately.
| Item | Standard FD250 | Regulated-Market 25T |
|---|---|---|
| Capacity | 25,000 kg class | 25,000 kg |
| Load Center | 1,220 mm | 1,220 mm |
| Truck Weight | 33,500 kg | 35,000 kg |
| Forks | 2400 × 285 × 105 mm | 2400 × 285 × 110 mm |
| Engine | 160 kW Cummins | Weichai / Cummins, 160–162 kW |
Use the data for the selected truck rather than combining dimensions or engine information from different 25-ton variants.
